The ipv6 workshop ended, and there were indeed some visitors at our booth.. passing by to the cafeteria. Well, nevertheless one stopped at our booth and asked some questions.

On the road again....
After some smaller problems (broken car which needed a small break to heat up, really dumb user trying to create a mirror with scp) we finally arrived in Luxemburg yesterday for the LinuxDays.lu.
First impression: Luxemburg is an interesting (but expensive) city. I didn't know it's that hilly here.
However, as you can read this entry, you can conclude, that we are not (yet) overrun by visitors. But it's still early, so don't wonder, if don't find the time to read those 700 unread mails.

Entscheidungen
Es gibt diese Art von Entscheidungen, bei denen kann man hunderte Male versuchen, sich selbst einzureden, dass sie richtig, rational und volkommen klar waren, und es will und will einfach nicht klappen.
Eine solche Entscheidung musste ich vergangenen Donnerstag treffen. Ich ging mit Flecki - meinem Kaninchen - zu einem Tierarzt. Wegen einer Kleinigkeit wie ich annahm. Genaugenommen ging ich auch nicht zu einem Tierarzt, sondern nacheinander zu dergleichen dreien.
Und dann traf ich eine solche Entscheidung. Ich ging nach Hause zurück. Flecki nicht.

Was ich mir zum Geburtstag wünsche:
Zunächst einmal wäre ich mit einem BAföG-Bescheid (mit einer möglichst hohen Zahl) zufrieden. Da es aber durchaus als unwahrscheinlich betrachtet werden kann, dass meine Sachberarbeiterin das lesen sollte, und die restliche Leserschaft wenig Einfluss darauf nehmen kann, geh ich mal zu etwas materiellen Dingen über:
- Ein Flugticket nach Finnland (Tampere) zur Debconf5
- Ein neues Notebook (mein altes ist kurz davor auseinander zu fallen)
- Jalousie für meine Fenster
- Eine kleine Pfanne
- Ein kleiner Topf
- Mein Wunschzettel auf Amazon ist eigentlich auch noch aktuell, aber ich bitte nach Möglichkeiten NICHT bei Amazon zu bestellen, sondern bei bookzilla
- Und wer mich richtig überraschen will, der kann mir was aus der SZ-Bibliothek schenken. Nur nicht "Im Namen der Rose", das habe ich schon.
Bitte schenkt mir keine Süssigkeiten, weil ich - warum auch immer - diesen doofen Neujahrsvorsatz habe, meinen Süssigkeitenkonsum erheblich zu reduzieren.
